Q: How do I reserve my spot?
A: Booking is essential. Your place is confirmed once the AUD $450 non-refundable deposit is received.Q: Can I pay in instalments?
A: Yes! You can split your payment in two, three or more instalments. The remaining balance is due 20 days (06/04) before the retreat start date.Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: The AUD$450 deposit is non-refundable.Cancellation 60 days before the retreat 70% refundable.
No refund after 1st of March 2026, unless your spot is filled.
Bookings are for the stated period of the retreat. There are no refunds for an unused portion of the retreat. If the reason for cancellation is covered under the terms of your Insurance Policy, you may be able to make a claim on your insurance.
Travel insurance is highly recommended.

A: Take a 30-minute domestic flight to Pokhara, then a 30-minute car transfer along a scenic, bumpy road to the retreat venue.Q: Are transfers included?
A: Yes, transfers from Pokhara Airport or Pokhara town hotel to the retreat venue and back are included.Q: Can I arrive early or stay after the retreat?
A: Absolutely! We recommend spending a day or two in Pokhara. Trekking tours, including the three-day Poon Hill trek, can be arranged with our Nepalese hosts.Q: Do I need a visa for Nepal?
A: Yes, a tourist visa is required (AUD $60 for 14 days), available on arrival or online.Q: Do I need travel insurance?

A: You can check in at the venue from 1pm - retreat starts at 230pm. Check out is at 11am - retreat ends at 11am.
What should I expect when arriving in Kathmandu?
Kathmandu is a vibrant, bustling city full of life, history, and culture. For many visitors, it can feel overwhelming or even a bit of a cultural shock at first. The streets are busy, dirty, the sounds and smells are strong, and daily life moves at a different rhythm than what many are used to. We recommend keeping an open heart and mind, seeing it as part of the adventure, and if you’d prefer a gentler landing, consider heading directly to Pokhara after your international arrival. -

Q: What meals are included during the retreat?
All meals are included once the retreat begins—breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea, and fresh fruit throughout the day. Meals are nourishing, vegetarian, and prepared with local produce to support your retreat journey.Please note:
The retreat starts at 2:30 pm on the arrival day, so breakfast and lunch before this time are not included. However, they can be purchased at the venue at your own cost.
The retreat ends with a farewell brunch at 11:00 am on the final day. Any meals after this time are not included, but they can be purchased at the venue.

Our retreat is located in the Annapurna Valley, well below the high-altitude trekking regions. You may feel a little different in your body as you adjust to the environment, but altitude sickness is not a concern at this level.Do I need travel insurance?

A: Tipping is not required but appreciated if you wish.Do I need to take part in all activities and trekking?
Not at all. Every practice, workshop, and trek is an invitation to deepen your experience—but nothing is ever compulsory. You are always welcome to rest, take it easy, or simply enjoy the beauty of the retreat space if you don’t feel like joining a particular activity.For the safety and wellbeing of the group container, we ask that participants remain at the retreat during retreat days (leaving the venue is not permitted). On trekking days, it is important that we walk as a group to ensure everyone’s safety and to honour the shared journey we are taking together.
Q: What is the climate like?
A: The Annapurna Valley has mild to warm days and cool nights. Weather can be unpredictable, so layered clothing is recommended.In Nepal, April and May mark the spring season, and it’s one of the most popular times to visit, especially for trekking in the Annapurna region.
Temperature:
Pokhara & Annapurna Valley: Daytime temperatures are generally 20–28°C, while nights can drop to 10–15°C.
Kathmandu: Slightly warmer in the day, around 22–27°C, cooler at night 12–16°C.

Can I arrive in Pokhara a few days before the retreat?
Yes, and we actually recommend it! Spending a day or two in Pokhara before the retreat allows you to rest, settle, and adjust after your travels. It’s also a chance to enjoy the lakeside town’s charm before we journey together into the Annapurna Valley.What about staying longer after the retreat?
Absolutely. Many guests choose to extend their trip to soak up more of Nepal’s beauty. Our Nepalese hosts can help you organise accommodation in Pokhara or beyond.Can I go trekking before or after the retreat?
Yes, our hosts are very experienced in arranging trekking tours around the Annapurna region. A 3-day Poon Hill trek is highly recommended—it’s accessible, stunning, and a wonderful way to complement the retreat experience. Longer treks can also be arranged depending on your time and interests.Do you help with booking domestic flights (Kathmandu–Pokhara)?
Yes. While the cost of the flight is not included in the retreat price, our Nepalese hosts will happily assist you with booking your return domestic flights between Kathmandu and Pokhara. Payment is made directly to them. -
