Grounding - Gracias to Pachamamacita

Serve: 1

1 .5 Cup of steel-cut oats

2.5 Cups water or Plant Based milk

1/8 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)

2 Tbsp of good quality maple syrup

1 or 2 chopped apples - your choice

Strawberries, goji berries, sultanas, cacao nibs

¼ Cup dried mulberries

Preparing it:

COOKING IT: Cook the oats, cinnamon, water or plant based milk and 1 tbs of maple syrup together. Bring all to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat and let simmer, uncovered for approximately 10 to 15 minutes or until you reach your desired consistency and texture. Stir occasionally. You may need to add a touch of liquid if it starts to dry out before the oats are cooked.

Cook chopped apples (pears go great as well) with cinnamon and maple syrup on low-medium heat until soft. You may need to add a few spoon of water to keep the apples from sticking to the pot.

Once the oats are tender and cooked through, cover and let rest for about 5 minutes before serving.

Gather: warm, soft and juicy apples, fresh fruit, dried fruit and once the oats are ready add them to the oats.
